We are an independent retailer of children’s shoes based in the rural village of Sherston, Nr Malmesbury in Wiltshire. As well as traditional brands such as Start-Rite and Buckle My Shoe we also stock brands that are unique to us in the UK and set us and our shoes apart from the High Street. We opened the shop in October 2009 and it has gone from strength to strength with customers travelling upwards of two hours to get to us!

As well as the shop we wanted to offer children everywhere our selection of shoes and so the website was always an important step. Anyone who is worried about ordering online should ring us and we will guide you through the sizing and ordering process – once you have fallen in love with a brand and you know they fit your child, it is just a case of ordering the next size up.

Apples and Pairs offers a measuring and fitting service and we pride ourselves in our friendly and relaxed environment. We have a fun play area for the children and there is free parking immediately outside our door.

We stock shoes from baby all the way up to a European 43 and are very pleased that we have a really good range of casual shoes for older kids and teens – that age group that needs proper shoes but is fashion conscious!

The village of Sherston has a great Farm Shop, Post Office and two pubs as well as a playground. For the more adventurous, Westobirt Arboretum is only a five minute drive away with Tetbury and Malmesbury each less than 15 minutes.

As well as our fantastic shoes, we have a great range of clothes, toys, books, stationery and gifts from Funky Bambini of Bath. Goods can be gift wrapped, free of charge and it is our personal touch and extremely high level of customer service that makes us so much more than a children’s shoe shop.

Our school shoes are supplied by Start-rite, Buckle My Shoe, Rockpool Kids, Jumping Jacks and Willits and the majority of our home and casual shoes are from KidExpress, Geox, Morgan and Milo, Start-rite, Buckle My Shoe and L’amour. Some of these brands you may not have heard of and this is because they are unique to us in the UK or are lesser known brands. We pick our shoes for their quality, the fit on children’s feet, their style and durability as well as their sense of fun! Children’s shoes should be bright and fun as well as hard wearing. As well as shoes, Apples and Pairs also has a range of wellies, slippers, gym shoes, trainers, baby shoes and slippers, socks, tights, hats, gloves, scarves, raincoats and umbrella’s, to name but a few, we really are a one stop shopping experience!
