But how do I get joyful? By being thankful about little things! I formed a habit of rejoicing in little things, even if the day was really bad. In this way, I'm happy and grateful in my life. For the past 13 years, Toys for Joy has reached out to Southeastern San Diego. Last year, the Rock Church impacted over 8000 lives with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. We provided 100000 articles of clothing, 7000 toys and 4000 bags of groceries to families in need. More than 1200 volunteers and 14 churches partnered to reach this community for Christ. This year's event is going to be bigger than ever! We're anticipating more than 15000 people to attend. Families will receive free haircuts, health screenings and groceries. Each child will be given a toy and there will also be a community fair for adults, all with the purpose to share the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ. How You Can Help Volunteer We need 1500 volunteers. Monetary Donations We will need $50000 to make this event possible. You can also use your recyclables to bring JOY. A portion of the money raised from recycling at the Launch Pad between October 18 - December 6 will be used for Toys for Joy.
