Owner and head buyer Lisa Hempstock ow has two-strong Sister chain, after taking over popular Chesterfield store Jag.

The Saltergate shop has been completel transformed to echo the image and fashion ethos of its older Sister.

With a chic makeover in dark wood, soft lime an textural stone detail, the store opened under its new name at a launch party on September 20th.

A plasma screen features the latest collection and how to work them and the fashion choice is stronger than ever.

Lisa has drawn on her many years of experience in the fashion business as well as Jag`s to create an interesting new mix for the discerning fashion Sisterhood.

'Jag has always had a great reputation for evening and occasion wear, and its strong collection for larger ladies. I wanted to keep those customers happy. When they come to Sister Chesterfield, they will find many of the labels they know and love from the Jag days, plus some really exciting new ones,' says Lisa.

'The shops are not carbon copies of each other – they have their own personalities,' says Lisa..

'There are many things that the Chesterfield customer will find is unique to her.' At Chesterfield, the colour palette is predominantly grey, with flashes of bright berry and plum. Autumnal browns are enlivened with deep jewel tones. Summer`s metallics still predominate and add a welcome edge of glamour to a more sombre season.

Shape-wise, Sister is backing the smock and the tunic. Big, balloon sleeves feature, and all can be dressed with leggings and bright opaque tights. Lisa has worked hard to introduce more casuals and simple day pieces to the rails via the clean, classic lines and unusual fabrics of French label Rodika Zanian, plus a selection of luxurious leathers, beautifully tailored trousers and interesting knits created by Denmark`s Stillf.

The eveningwear section includes a chic new autumn and winter collection from Jag`s popular Tuzzi label. But there is also a sexy capsule range of fluid jersey and silk pieces by Spanish name Marcelane.

Some fashion collections already known and loved at Sister Sheffield are being introduced to the Chesterfield customer. Lisa knows she will love the fabulous fit and guaranteed street cred of the DVB by Victoria Beckham jeans range. The high fashion German labelMarc Cain, which has always gone down a storm on Ecclesall Road, will also be there.And look out, too, for a new range of knits from Repeat.
